Atom bank has announced that four new directors will join its board, subject to regulatory approval.
The specialist bank will add Cheryl Millington to the board who brings experience in technology, retail and banking to Atom, having most recently served as chief digital officer at Travis Perkins.
She has also held roles as CIO at Asda and chief digital officer at Waitrose, as well as being part of the senior management team at HBOS.
David Roper will join as the new chair of Atom’s audit committee after Bridget Rosewell became chairman of Atom bank.
He was most recently an assurance partner with PwC’s financial services practice.
Atom will also add Ian Ormerod and Victoria del Castillo to its board as representatives of BBVA.
Bridget said: “I am delighted that Atom continues to attract and maintain a high-quality and diverse group of directors.
“All of our board members bring significant expertise and incisive challenge to the business, and with their support, the bank continues to grow successfully and build an enviable reputation for efficiency and innovation.”
